ABOUT THE COMPANY

 
 

Saif Group, through Lahore Compost (Pvt.) Ltd, has set up its first composting plant at Mahmood Booti under an agreement with the City District Government Lahore (CDGL). The project has been setup on Build‐Operate‐Transfer basis, whereby the project will be transferred to CDGL after a period of 25 years. This is the first public‐private project in Pakistan on such a large scale in the area of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) recycling. The company is registered as a CDM project with UNFCCC.

Composting at Lahore Compost is done through Aerobic process using Windrow Technology to achieve maximum level of mature product and safe environment. The composting process normally takes around 60 days to complete. The plant, supplied by world renowned Menart, has a capacity to produce over 50,000 metric tons per annum.
